In Phononics 2011, the Felix Bloch Lecture has been inaugurated as a named lecture to honor researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the field of phononics. The 2011 Felix Bloch Lecture was given by Professor Sia Nemat-Nasser (University of California, San Diego).
